Sadly, our traditional Christmas Market was not held last year due to Covid-19 and we switched to an on-line offering. But this year we want to make our 2021 event even bigger and better. We know from the popularity of our Christmas Market over the last few years, that people really look forward to meeting up at the Market, enjoying meeting people they have not seen for some time, and buying food, drinks and Christmas gifts from our market traders and local voluntary organisations.

 

So, to make our market even bigger and better we have applied to close the main road in the village (The Square). This will enable us to place our market stalls down the centre of the road and place our stage across the road outside Barclays Bank.  And to keep the kids amused this year, we have asked Joe White’s Fair to erect a fairground in the co-op car park with rides, which will include five new rides: Sizzler twist, Miami freestyle, Mini Miami, Toy carousel, Mini planes, and a Hook a duck stall.
