For over 40 years Santa's Sleigh has been a well-loved tradition of Christmas in Holmes Chapel and the surrounding villages. In 2025 the Sleigh will be passed to its new owners, Holmes Chapel Shed Crew.

Thousands of residents defied the wet weather to attend Holmes Chapel’s annual Christmas Market and Fair, organised by Holmes Chapel Partnership.

The hugely popular Holmes Chapel Christmas Market & Fair is returning on Sunday 7 December. The much-loved event is being hosted by community organisation Holmes Chapel Partnership, which has been working tirelessly since the summer to ensure this years Christmas Market & Fair is as good as ever.

This annual community event is hosted and organised by The Victoria Club.  It was held on Sunday 6th July in 2025 and the administration of all the stalls was handled by Holmes Chapel Partnership for the first time.

Holmes Chapel Partnership has launched a brand-new online version of Harry’s Home Village Tour, giving Harry Styles fans the freedom to explore his hometown on foot or virtually, without the need for a scheduled tour.

Holmes Chapel Partnership helped to organise the first ever family Fun Run in Holmes Chapel, held on Sunday 11th May in the Dane Meadow. This new one-off event was suggested by local resident Gill Bradfield to support fundraising efforts for our local groups and charities.

The annual Walk to School Event in Holmes Chapel was a resounding success, as local children including pupils from Holmes Chapel Primary School and Hermitage Primary School donned red, white and blue to celebrate the VE Day 80th anniversary.
