Hi Kids!

 

We are busy working on our campaign to make walking routes to schools in Holmes Chapel safer and we need your help.

 

This year we will be creating new banners around the village to encourage drivers to take more care. We’d like your help to make these banners as colourful and eye catching as possible.

 

Everyone who enters the competition will receive a high visibility safety reflector pendant from us! Plus, six lucky winners will receive their choice of a Stomp Heli Rocket or ‘Go Find It’ natural treasure hunt game, guaranteed to provide some outdoor fun this spring!

 

There are two ways you can enter the competition.  Either download and colour in the poster below or design your own poster to encourage drivers to take more care through our village.  All you need is a sheet of A4 or A3 paper, some colouring pens and lots of imagination. 

 

We would like to see big, colourful posters with a strong message such as: 

 

SLOW DOWN CHILDREN

SCHOOL! SLOW DOWN

DRIVE CAREFULLY IN OUR VILLAGE

THINK CHILDREN

WALKING ROUTE TO SCHOOL

SPEED DOWN, SAVE LIVES

 

Ask an adult to photograph or scan your entry and send it to SWRTS@hcpartnership.org.uk with the subject: POSTER COMPETITION.  Don’t forget to include your name, age and school within the email. 

 

The deadline for entries is Monday 22 February.
